Our agile development methodology incorporates best practices from Scrum and the Open Unified Process. We use and support a number of open source frameworks. We are a member of the Tapestry Support Network.

Sparta Social Networks is the market-leading white label social network platform in the US. It provides enterprises with complete, turn-key solutions that enable customer communities. EU Edge provides process development, architecture engineering and performance tuning services to the company helping it meet the challenges of business growth: user experience enhancement and thus improvement of customer satisfaction. An important aspect of this project is the performance optimization of Sparta Social Networks’ proven, scalable Java based platform to enable continuous growth.

Founder Bios
Viktor Szathmáry
Sofware developer and architect, with broad experience in customer facing online applications. Viktor was lead developer for New York-based startup FreshDirect, an online fresh food production service, responsible for e-commerce site as well as CRM, CMS and integration with SAP (2001-2005). Other notable projects include: Concorde Direct, the first Hungarian online stock trading system (1999-2001); Chatsubo, a scalable chat server platform (1998-2001); chat.hu, the largest Hungarian chat community, with over a million registered accounts (1999-2001). Viktor has developed a number of open source projects, including Tacos (an AJAX web component library for Tapestry), Flock and Barter and contributed to several other projects. Viktor is a certified ScrumMaster.
Ákos Maróy
Ákos Maróy works as a software developer since 1995, always focusing on cutting edge technologies and methodologies. He has written the first Java Servlet engine based web site in Hungary in 1997-1998 for Pesti Est, a free weekly program magazine. He has worked for Nokia as a subcontractor in Helsinki, Finland between 1999-2001 on WAP related technologies for the award winning Nokia Active Server enterprise product, while also being active in the WAP standardization process at the WAP Forum. Since 2004 he has worked for the Centre for Advanced Media Prague branch of the Media Development Loan Fund, providing analysis and development services for media-oriented open source software solutions. Ákos has developed the open source media streamer DarkIce.
